In the "The Best" project. S'ART gallery, Moskow. February 2003 y.

For the project I made a work of art, entitled "Who is the Best ?". This drawing based on the famous photo of The Beatles, taken from so-called "bulgarian" album of the group (possibly the first LP of the group you could bought in the USSR). The musical, and of course, symbolical significance of the members of the group, emphasized in this photo by means of relative size of the portraits. The analogy with mythological and ideological heroes is evident. The symbolical significance is very easy to manipulate. So I moved George and Ringo to the foreground, and Paul and John to the background. Who is the best?
